Through progressive training techniques, skill repetition, and consistent feedback from our coaching staff, players will create good habits and develop new and improved skills throughout the entire off-season. Our 8-week program will give your player the edge they need for the fall.
Shooting Lanes: Players will utilize the new shooting lanes to work on good mechanics, as well as different shot releases.
Speed and Agility: Players will work on stride development through various sprint training exercises to improve overall acceleration and strength in their skating.
Off-Ice: Our certified Off-Ice Performance Coach has an age-specific program for each group to develop strength, power, and core stability to supplement their on-ice performance.
Synthetic Ice: The synthetic ice provides a 15:1 glide ratio in comparison to real ice. This allows players to increase strength and speed while performing all skills. Synthetic ice will be used for power skating, high repetition sessions of puck handling, and shooting.
Real Ice: Following the synthetic ice session, the players will take the "session-of-the-day" to the real ice. The hour and 10 minutes on the real ice is used as a platform to increase hockey sense while performing situational drills and competing in small area games.
